Cool Down the Summer Heat

After the long rainy season, the long-awaited summer has arrived. This broadcast features a delightful selection of tracks to help cool down the summer heat, spanning eras and genres. It includes a superb cover of Roy Ayers' classic by Brazilian entertainer Seu Jorge, whose album has been generating buzz even before its release; a rendition of the "Cha Cha Cha," a hit in Japan in the 1950s; and a psychedelic version of "Summertime" from Gabor Szabo, a Hungarian jazz guitarist, recorded for his 1960s album influenced by the Raga rock movement.
