A 30-Minute Exclusive Featuring All Unreleased Tracks
Jose James, who recently visited our studio, has made a surprising move to "impulse," a prestigious jazz label known for releases by John Coltrane and Max Roach. Furthermore, his new album is set for release as early as May.
Flying Lotus, whose "Cosmogramma" is one of WARP's most anticipated releases of 2010, will also visit Japan in May, shortly after the album's release.
From the first installment of British artist Matthew Herbert's album trilogy, we feature a track with his vocals. Also, a cover version of DJ Rolando's masterpiece "Jaguar" from UR, and the latest trio J.A.M. release from Soil & Pimp Sessions – all tracks will be aired before their release.

Maestro Jim O'Rourke Presents a Tribute to Burt Bacharach
REVIEW | PICK UP TOPICS
Jim O'Rourke, known for his unique and alternative activities, has released "All Kinds of People - Love Burt Bacharach," an album featuring the songs of American pop master Burt Bacharach with eleven singers. To celebrate this release, he will perform live at Billboard Tokyo on April 15th and 18th. It seems he will be joined on stage by a stellar lineup of guests who participated in the album, including Haruomi Hosono, Kahimi Karie, and Akira Sakata. About ten years ago, I had the chance to perform at an electronic music festival in Spain alongside him. Looking back, it was an incredibly valuable experience, something that would be unthinkable in Japan. This is a must-see event, not just for fans of Jim O'Rourke or Bacharach.
