An Auction Dinner Supporting KYOTOGRAPHIE and Its Artists
Launched in 2013 in the ancient capital of Kyoto,the "KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival."An auction dinner to support the continuation of this cultural event and the activities of its artists will be held on February 17 (Tuesday) at Hyatt Regency Kyoto. In addition to art pieces, the auction will featurea reservation at "Noma," the world's best restaurant,will also be offered.

KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival is one of Japan's few international photography festivals, held in Kyoto, a city renowned for its culture. It is known for exhibiting precious photographic collections by domestic and international artists in unique Kyoto locations such as temples, historic buildings, and modern architecture. The festival, which is becoming a spring tradition in Kyoto with collaborations between traditional craftspeople and cutting-edge technology, is scheduled to be held again this spring.
This auction dinner is held to support the long-term continuation of this uniquely Kyoto event, to promote talented artists to the world, and to provide them with a platform for their work. On the day of the event, art pieces by world-renowned photographers owned by KYOTOGRAPHIE will be auctioned. Furthermore, lending its support to this cause is "Noma," a restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, which has been named the world's best restaurant four times by the UK's Restaurant Magazine.
Responding to the invitation from KYOTOGRAPHIE and Hyatt Regency Kyoto, René Redzepi, head chef and co-owner of Noma, and his team will offer items including reservation rights at the Copenhagen restaurant, a kitchen tour, a field trip to visit Noma's staff on-site, and signed cookbooks.
The dinner will feature a special menu using Kyoto ingredients prepared by Etienne Turcer, Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Kyoto. Additionally, the live performance by Kyoto Jazz Trio, led by the internationally active Shuuya Okino, will create a festive atmosphere.
