On a Sunday night, a leisurely flow of time with sophisticated music is a moment of bliss for adults. Delivering such a rich experience is DJToshio Matsuura's radio program "TOKYO MOON"──. Every Sunday, he broadcasts a selection of wonderful music from around the world and intellectually stimulating topics for adults on Inter FM 76.1MHz from 7 PM. Here, Toshio Matsuura himself presents the program as it airs each week. So, what has he picked out this time?

Premiere broadcast of new works by artists like Autechre
We premiere "Brownswood Bubblers 5," the signature compilation by DJ Gilles Peterson, a familiar face at OPENERS; the latest from Autechre, masters of electronica from Manchester, UK; and the new release from Flying Lotus, one of the most talked-about artists in the underground music scene today, all before their official release. I believe it was a 30-minute program that gave listeners a glimpse into the present and future of the music scene.

Nishiazabu's club "Yellow," which has consistently led Tokyo's nightlife scene since the early 1990s, will reopen as "eleven" after a two-year hiatus, closing its doors in June 2008. The legendary club will relaunch under the new name "eleven" on Thursday, February 18th.
We conducted an exclusive interview with the production team behind the operation. We spoke with them about their evolving style, the unchanging staff, and their passion for music. My regular party, "impro," is also scheduled to make a comeback soon. In times like these, this place feels essential, and I have a feeling this year's nights will be exciting.
