In January 2008, a conversation took place within the pages of "OPENERS",between Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tatsuhiko Akashi, President of MEDICOM TOY.
The "Wooden BE@RBRICK" exclusive to "more trees," an ecology project spearheaded by Mr. Sakamoto, which was discussed during that meeting, has finally been completed.

The material used is "Eco Value Wood," created by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd., which collects and compresses unused wood scraps. Manufacturing is handled by the furniture brand "Karimoku," with each piece meticulously crafted by hand.

Due to the fine wood particles being compressed, each piece has a unique appearance, making the fact that no two products are exactly alike one of its appealing features.

The box that encases the product is made from recycled solid cardboard, and the inner blister pack, designed to protect the product during transport and stacking, is made from recycled PET bottles. The specifications are designed to minimize environmental impact as much as possible.

Made from "Eco Value Wood," a material created by compressing wood fragments.
Each piece has a unique cross-section, allowing you to enjoy its individual character.

The back of the waist features a branded "more trees" logo. While it appears slightly dark in the photo, the logo is intended to be clearly visible.

This product will be available exclusively through the web shop "rumors," with 10% of sales donated to "more trees" to support forestation efforts.

Due to the handcrafted nature and the material's limitations, the available quantity is a modest 150 units.
