GOODThe fact that I was able to visit the African continent again this year... I suppose. It's been a year since I started supporting through African JAG. Little by little, results are starting to show, and the children's smiles are returning. I was happy to be able to hold an exhibition of those children's smiling faces on AIDS DAY. And I'm also extremely happy to have found a successor in my work!!
BADWasting precious time and limited energy being tossed around by brats. Today's Japanese kids lack grit. They don't do what they're supposed to, instead they "run away," "cry," or "act defiant"... Are you kidding me?!

GOODIn the season when the cicadas' voices are a nuisance carried by the wind, I rode the waves for the first time. Lying on the board, floating in a space of only sky and sea. I wonder if seagulls feel this way...
The seagulls and surfers living in the town of Tsujido, where I went, don't schedule their days by work or time, but by the conditions of the sky and sea. The sky and sea, which don't wear watches, are free, and the people who adapt to them are also somehow free. It was a wonderful day, experiencing surfing, which involves living with nature and conversing with it.
BADTickled by the spring breeze, I jogged every morning. The still-waking city felt fresh, and my steps became lighter. As the cherry blossoms budded and then scattered. My legs shattered too... I injured my leg. Was it because of the shoes with their thin soles? Or my age? What I thought was good for my body turned out to be a burden. Just like human interaction, I should have considered the other party's perspective...

GOODThis summer, flying around the Hawaiian sky in an ultralight (a two-seater propeller plane) and seeing my own reflection projected at the center of a circular rainbow changed my perspective on life. Life is Short. I strongly realized there was still so much I hadn't done. The next day, I, who am unathletic, started surfing (laughs). Since then, I might not be wasting time anymore. For me, 2007 was the year I awakened to becoming more active. My lifestyle has completely changed, perhaps.
BADPerhaps it was when I had a major heartbreak at the beginning of the year? My long-term boyfriend, whom I thought I could trust, completely betrayed me, and after a huge drama, I was dumped. Oh, but in the end, it might have been the best lesson of my life. However, the fact that I went a bit too wild and partied excessively after that major heartbreak was the real "X" of 2007 (bitter laugh).

GOODI discovered the wonders of the South of France. Until now, I always thought France meant Paris and only stayed in Paris, but after experiencing my friend's wedding in Saint-Tropez and a vacation in Cassis, I realized the South of France suited me, and I got my driver's license so I could travel freely.
BADAfter traveling alone several times, I discovered the joy of entertaining myself too much. Perhaps I've learned how to entertain myself... I, who am already destined for a late marriage, have begun to seek a light that only I can see, and there are signs that I am heading towards becoming an extremely late-marrying woman (bitter laugh).
