David Lynch: The Enigmatic Force Arrives in the Music Scene

This episode opened with new works from two female artists: the young American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, and Feist, returning after a four-year hiatus since her global hit. We also introduced "Crazy Clown Time," the title track from the full album by film director and screenwriter David Lynch, who made a sudden debut in the music world earlier this year with the EP "Good Day Today / I Know." Additionally, we featured a darkly gleaming, chaotic new song from the reclusive artist Tom Waits, who is set to release his first album in seven years—and his first piano-driven album since "Mule Variations" (1999), twelve years ago.
