An album where time just flies by!?

Toshio Matsuura | Latest Information on the Special Project "HEX" from Japan 02

The alternative hip-hop collective from Los Angeles led by Tyler, the Creator,Odd Future (OFWGKTA).
While the group boasts many talented producers, singers, and rappers, including Grammy winner Frank Ocean, Hodgy Beats, Left Brain, and Earl Sweatshirt, the duo we're introducing today, The Internet, consists of singer/producer Syd tha Kyd, the sole female member of the collective, and Matt Martians, who also produces under the name "Super 3."

The song "Cocaine," which garnered attention when Syd came out as a lesbian,

On their 2011 debut album, "Purple Naked Ladies," their floating, avant-garde yet mellow sound production and Syd's soulful, sexy vocals captivated listeners worldwide, including myself, bringing them into the spotlight.

And now, after about two years, their long-awaited new album has been released. The single "Don't'cha," produced by Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes, which we introduced earlier, was selected as InterFM's "Hot Picks" after its broadcast on TOKYO MOON, generating buzz.

The lead single "Don't'cha"

The second album, "Feel Good," which includes the two songs introduced here, is set to be released in Japan on the 16th of this month, available for digital download. Fans who were anxiously awaiting the release in their home country can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

The album features guest appearances from R&B singer Jesse Boykins III, known for his romantic vocals, and Brainfeeder artistThundercat, and Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, whose song "Live Your Life" produced by Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes gained attention last year. Together, they deliver an even more evolved sense of "comfort."

The only drawback is that time seems to fly by when listening to the album from start to finish, so we hope you'll enjoy it during a relaxed Sunday afternoon.
