Their Highly Anticipated Debut in Japan This September!

Less than two years after their debut, their first album "Settle" reached number one on the UK's national charts. This is Disclosure, the dance music duo comprised of brothers Guy, 22, and Howard, 19.

The brothers grew up in Surrey, southeast England, surrounded by parents and relatives working in the music industry. Embracing the freedom of the new generation, they seamlessly blend influences from the mid-90s 2-step garage scene to the latest bass music, combining this with impressive instrumental skills, making them ideal artists. With a glamorous, almost nostalgic aura, they captivate audiences with catchy melodies and tight grooves, expanding their popularity from Europe to America, reaching both radio waves and dance floors.



Their impact is now reaching Japan, with their Japanese debut in July and their first live performances scheduled for September, drawing significant attention. Personally, I've been eagerly awaiting their full album since being captivated by the balance of pop and funk in last summer's "What's In Your Head" (featured on the album).

How far will they shake up the major music scene as dance artists? Their movements in the latter half of this year are certainly worth watching.

A Sophisticated Party Celebrating 20 Years Since "That Song"

Twenty years have passed since US3's "Cantaloop," a global hit in 1993 that boldly sampled Herbie Hancock's jazz classic "Cantaloupe Island" (1964). US3 will visit Japan as a DJ unit, and a party will be held in Tokyo. Other performers include myself, Toshio Matsuura, Shuya Okino of InterFM's "Jazz Ain't Jazz" and KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE, and Shiba, who organizes the Freedom Sunset music event that brightens Enoshima in the summer. It's a lineup perfect for adults.
