Sunday nights, a leisurely flow of time with sophisticated music is a moment of bliss for adults. Enhancing such moments further is the radio program "TOKYO MOON" by DJ Toshio Matsuura.──He broadcasts a selection of wonderful music from around the world and topics to stimulate intellectual curiosity for adults every Sunday from 24:00 on Inter FM 76.1MHz. Here, we look back at the program that just aired each week. This week, we presented tracks to awaken the mind at midnight.

From Modern Classical to Jazzy Drum & Bass
The program opened with "With Time Between Us," a modern classical piece featuring minimalist piano, by the British project Memotone. Following that, we introduced melancholic and chic soul from France's Heavenly Sweetness.

Also featured was a new release from British beatmaker Lapalux, aka Stuart Howard, and "Twice," a remix by Questlove (The Roots) of a track by jazz pianist Robert Glasper, a figure of the hip-hop generation. We also played an instrumental track from the 10th original album by the duo Satsuki Mutoh and Tatsuki Higashi,
and jazzy dubstep/drum & bass, delivering a stimulating collection of tracks to awaken the mind at midnight.
