Stimulate Your Senses with Music!

Heavenly Sweetness, a label based in Paris, France since 2007, continues to release remarkable works that convey a deep love for music. At the beginning of the program, we featured a soulful, acoustic number from the four-piece Zimbabwean group Jacaranda Muse that deeply resonates with the listener.



Next, we played "It's All Over Your Body," a remix by Sudanese-American producer Oddisee of a new track by Jose James, who has signed with the prestigious Blue Note label and is set to release a new album early next year. Following that was the 21st-century electric free jazz from LA's visionary Flying Lotus, featuring Tom Yorke, Thundercat, and Erykah Badu. We also featured an emotional jazz piece by Martinique-born pianist Grégory Privat, and a dance music blend of indie rock and jazz from Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts, a Montreal-born artist now based in Berlin, whom I'm personally watching closely this autumn. These are just a few selections from the "in-progress" music being created daily around the world.
