Moichi KUWAHARA

Moichi Kuwahara
Selector, producer, and representative of Club King. He managed Rolling Stone Japan from its first issue in 1973, produced "Snake Man Show" and collaborated with YMO in 1977, and began selecting music for Comme des Garçons fashion shows the same year. In 1982, he opened Japan's first club, "Pitcanthropus," in Harajuku. In 1989, he launched the free paper "dictionary," and in 1996, he started "club radio dictionary" on Shibuya FM in Tokyo. Following his participation in "Non-War," a publication released after 9/11 in 2001, curated by Ryuichi Sakamoto and suspeace, he developed "Comedy Club King (CCKing)," expressing his unique worldview through comedy. He currently produces free papers, web content, podcasts, community radio, TV programs, mobile sites, video expressions, comedy live shows, and the overarching web platform "Media Club King," striving to create an alternative media that embodies LOVE & PEACE.
