Moichi Kuwahara
Selector, producer, and representative of Club King. He managed the Japanese edition of U.S. "Rolling Stone" from its first issue in 1973, produced "Snake man Show" in 1977, collaborating with YMO, and began selecting music for "Comme des Garçons" fashion shows the same year. In 1982, he opened "Pithecanthropus," Japan's first club, in Harajuku. In 1989, he launched the free paper "dictionary," and in 1996, he started "club radio dictionary" on Shibuya FM in Tokyo. Following his participation in "Non-War," curated by Ryuichi Sakamoto and suspeace, which was published after 9/11 in 2001, he developed "Comedy Club King (CCKing)" to express his unique worldview through comedy. He currently produces free papers, websites, podcasts, community radio, TV, mobile sites, video expressions, comedy live shows, and the overarching web platform "Media Club King," continuing his activities with the aim of creating an alternative media that embodies LOVE & PEACE.
