Delivering Various Products and Messages with Heart
"Ie Love Zoku" is a Docomo ad series that features real families and introduces the "warm family bonds" built through mobile phones, presented in monochrome photographs and anecdotes. This series, which most people have likely seen, has showcased various families, each with their own style, yet all reflecting the fundamental family bond of "being connected somewhere." Launched in 2001, it has featured over 170 families to date.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the ad series, and with a desire to convey the importance of family, the "Ie Love Zoku Object Project" has been launched to deliver messages through objects with "family" as its concept. This event, titled "PRODUCT FAMILY ~Ie Love Zoku Object Project~," will focus on three themes: "Objects that evoke bonds with family," "Objects passed down through generations," and "Objects to gift to loved ones," featuring the development of original products and the proposal of "Ie Love Zoku" certified products.
For the original products themed around "family," the Ie Love Zoku Executive Committee has selected and produced original items with the hope of fostering and nurturing feelings of care for family. These include the "Ie Love Zoku FAMILY TREE TABLEWARE" series by Yota Kakuta, designed for use by grandchildren's generation; the "Ie Love Zoku PHOTO ALBUM" by POSTALCO for storing family memories; and the "Ie Love Zoku DINING TABLE," a space for family gatherings. These items have been created in collaboration with manufacturers and designers who support this initiative.
