Diary-T 179 Meeting on the Mountain

I attended the last Gathering on the Mountain of the year.
The view is breathtaking, but the atmosphere here is truly exceptional.
Everyone seems to adore Mr. Mogi, and perhaps that's why.
There are likely various hierarchies within this gathering.
Mr. Mogi's charm must be the magic that transforms them into a flat, egalitarian atmosphere.

This time, I brought along some of the young staff who have been helping me with my work recently, and a friend from Fukuoka.
Everyone looked happy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
My friend from Fukuoka remarked that all the women at the gathering were so beautiful, she felt she had gained something special. What a charming expression.
Indeed, the array of drinks everyone brought to delight Mr. Mogi was quite lavish.
Unfortunately, I opted for non-alcoholic beer this time, but
everyone seemed blissfully happy, savoring the delicious drinks.

I spoke with many people, and it seemed that the women gathered here were particularly inspired by Mr. Mogi's commitment to revitalizing Japan.
It's understandable they are captivated, as few people clearly and boldly express such aspirations in public.
The question is, what will those who share these passionate sentiments do from here?
What can I, who am no longer young and have limited time remaining, do? I gaze at the beautiful, spectacular views of Kamakura, lost in the moment.
"Mr. Mogi, please continue to lead the Dictionary Club next year. We are always waiting for the principal's turn."
"Let's do it. Let's do it with all our might."
At the end of the last Gathering on the Mountain of the year, I exchanged a firm handshake with the respected Mr. Mogi and bid farewell.
Truly, I must think carefully...
To make next year our year.
