Diary-T 177 Shangri-La
There is a profound mystery here. We are born into this vast universe, which changes according to the laws of nature, live our lives earnestly, and eventually die. Various phenomena appear and pass through our consciousness. How are objectivity and subjectivity connected?
Could it be that I became infected with the spirit of "detachment"—the spirit of separating oneself from the object?
Excerpt from Kenichiro Mogi's Qualia Diary
Qualia Diary

Every morning, I feel Mogi-san's tweets and am moved by his Qualia Diary.
I am fortunate to be alive in this era.
Like a wilting plant absorbing water,
the messages from wise individuals like Mogi-san are a fountain of life for me.
"Engage in productive dialogue with those who oppose your views."
I believe this is at the core of Japan's political crisis.

From "The Age of Curses" by Tatsuki Uchida, which I am currently reading,
a hard, clear spring wells forth, slowly and rigorously moistening the parched soil of my mind, which has been neglected for too long, as if tilling it with a sharp hoe.
Like a corrupt merchant who maximizes profit by using pesticides and defoliants, no matter how much I try to cram my mind, which is already at its limit with a single harvest, with knowledge to achieve a second or third crop, if my body cannot keep up, I will inevitably become a "metabolic brain" and eventually a senile person.
Having read nearly twenty of Uchida-san's books, I have come to understand that knowledge is like blood circulation; it is crucial for blood to flow smoothly throughout the entire body, from the top of the head to the tips of the toes.
As I presumptuously speak, Uchida-san, being a black belt in Aikido, conveys life's philosophy and thought through a "physical thinking" approach, which is the ideal human state.
What sets him apart from other wise individuals is his grounded way of speaking.
I feel a sense of openness and wild vitality, like a hearty platter of fresh ingredients, rather than the meticulously arranged dishes in a high-end osechi bento box, perfectly packed without a single gap.
Do not consume what the body does not understand.
Eating with the head is bad for the body.
In other words, Uchida-san's discourse,
does not deal with writing that carelessly stirs up the anxieties and fears that inevitably arise in life.
Phrases that feel good to articulate or write down are likely forbidden for Uchida-san.
This means that as a reader, no matter how challenging the issue Uchida-san discusses, I will never be plunged into the abyss.
He is a rare and trustworthy doctor who never writes prescriptions that offer only temporary relief.
He gently teaches me that my poor physical condition is due to my lifestyle. A true doctor is someone like Tatsuki Uchida.
In another era, he would undoubtedly be remembered for his martial arts prowess.
Still, reading is such a blissful Shangri-La.
Nectar, nectar...
