Christmas Season, Heart-Pounding New Music
This week, from the posthumous collection "Lioness: Hidden Treasures" by the late, great British singer Amy Winehouse, we feature "Our Day Will Come," a classic pop song from the 1960s. We also have "L'Eau A La Bouche," a cover by Serge Gainsbourg's youngest son, Lulu Gainsbourg, of a song by the legendary French artist himself, who passed away 20 years ago. Also featured are Seu Jorge, the Brazilian artist who continues to shine as an actor and musician, and Nicolas Jaar, one of New York's new generation artists expressing electric chaos. We've compiled a diverse, multinational selection of music, from these artists to the latest works by the organic live hip-hop group The Roots, into a 30-minute program.

Additionally, in January, Finn Silver, the Dutch acoustic and folk jazz-soul unit who sent us a special message for this program, will make their first visit to Japan for performances at "Billboard Live Tokyo / Osaka." Their album "Crossing The Rubicon," supervised by the Berlin production team Jazzanova, is popular in Japan. With popular European musicians like Richard Spaven and Gideon van Gelder also joining them for their Japan tour, these are live shows not to be missed early in the new year.
