Sunday nights, a personal journey through exquisite music—a moment of bliss for discerning adults. Enhancing this experience is DJ Toshio Matsuura's radio program, 'TOKYO MOON'.──He presents a curated selection of wonderful music from around the globe and intriguing topics for adults, broadcast every Sunday from 7 PM on Inter FM 76.1MHz. Here, we revisit each week's broadcast. This week, set to a diverse range of sounds, we introduced the club jazz festival 'TOKYO CROSSOVER / JAZZ FESTIVAL 2011,' taking place this weekend.

New Releases from Major & Underground Picks!
This time, we featured a 1972 performance by Brazilian giants Gilberto Gil and Jorge Ben, followed by a track from Lucas Santtana, a multi-talented artist from Bahia representing the new generation of modern Brazilian music. Continuing from last week, we presented new work from London-based DJ and producer Phil Asher, and a funky remix by the immensely popular British poet Roots Manuva. As a spice, we even included a track from Canadian rapper and actor Drake, offering a wide-ranging selection.

The Club Jazz Celebration!
Returning for the first time in two years, Japan's sole club jazz festival will be held this week at Ebisu The Garden Hall. It's a night where you can enjoy a wide spectrum of music, from jazz to hip-hop, techno, house, soul, and funk, all at once. Featuring guests handpicked from home and abroad by boss Shuya Okino, it promises to heat up Tokyo as the cold truly sets in. Given the usual evening hours and new initiatives allowing for both standing and seated enjoyment, this is an event adult music fans should not miss.
