Lenny was a notoriously sharp-tongued stand-up comedian. He would use racial slurs and obscene language in front of Black audiences. Eventually, he drew the attention of law enforcement and faced legal persecution. He became engrossed in a battle over free speech. He dismissed his lawyers and began to represent himself, even reporting on his progress in detail at live venues, sometimes to the audience's boredom. Ultimately, even his fans and friends began to distance themselves from him. Ironically, the dangerous words that caused him trouble became less taboo after his death.
Lenny is an American film from the 1970s that depicts the life of the real-life, sharp-tongued comedian Lenny Bruce. The entire film was shot in black and white.

A long time ago, there was a character named Junky Oyama in the snakemanshow.
This Junky Oyama was born under the influence of this film.
I continue to produce radio programs as always, but beyond broadcast-banned words, I often ponder what are the most forbidden words in Japan today.
Isn't it because this country, which appears free at first glance, has become one of the world's top police states without us realizing it? Is it that we are so accustomed to self-censorship throughout Japan that we can't even contemplate what we shouldn't say? A wolf with its fangs removed is a truly sad creature. Is that what this means?
