Moichi KUWAHARA
Selector, producer, and representative of Club King. He managed the Japanese edition of U.S. magazine 'Rolling Stone' from its inaugural issue in 1973, produced 'Snake man Show' in 1977, collaborating with YMO, and began selecting music for Comme des Garçons fashion shows the same year. In 1982, he opened 'Pithecanthropus,' Japan's first club, in Harajuku. In 1989, he launched the free paper 'dictionary,' and in 1996, he started 'club radio dictionary' on Shibuya FM in Tokyo. Following the events of 9/11 in 2001, he participated in 'Non-War,' curated by Ryuichi Sakamoto and suspeace, which inspired him to develop 'Comedy Club King (CCKing),' expressing his unique worldview through comedy. Currently, he produces free papers, websites, podcasts, community radio, TV programs, mobile content, video expressions, comedy live shows, and oversees them all through the web platform 'Media Club King.' He continues his activities with the aim of creating alternative media that embodies LOVE & PEACE.
