Diary-T 100 Living Comedy
I was struck anew by how different the stamina of Osaka women is.
I received many works, including DVDs and picture books, from Ellie Omiya, the creator of "The Comedy of Living."
I decided to prepare myself before meeting her. And then,
Mother and daughter – this is truly a powerful documentary.
It's like a mini Yoshimoto Kogyo all on its own. This must be the unit of life in Osaka.
I might be scolded for arbitrarily associating Osaka with comedy, but
of course, I believe there are not a few women in Osaka who lack this stamina, who have a modern, elegant sensibility, cannot drink alcohol, and have small livers, but
this stamina, I believe, is something that only Osaka women – forgive me, Osaka ladies –
simply do not possess.
As I near the end of reading the first volume of "The Comedy of Living," the words that come to my lips are,
Honestly, this is hilarious.
Read it, just trust me and give it a try!
