From January 28 (Wed) to February 3 (Tue), Tom Ford will host a limited-time store at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, featuring its new metallic collection. The collection will showcase a wide range of items, including shoes, new bags, and leather goods.

Masterfully Crafted Men's-Style Sneakers Debut

Tom Ford's bespoke leather sneakers, first introduced in last year's Autumn/Winter men's collection and met with great acclaim, are now joined by a women's model crafted from metallic leather this season.

All leather is lightly brushed to achieve a worn-in appearance. The structure, which softens the leather to its utmost limit, creates wrinkles that evoke a vintage feel. Furthermore, the Italian artisans' handmade leather undergoes a process of hand-polishing and stitching for over three days, followed by a week or more of resting the leather on a wooden last before completion. Each step is meticulously executed, resulting in shoes that excel not only in design and unique coloring but also in comfort.

In addition to sneakers, new variations of the iconic "Alix" bag and wallets in metallic leather will be available in limited quantities (photo on left).
