Uta Geyer established her shop in 2006 in Prenzlauer Berg, an area known for its high concentration of artists and discerning tastes, amidst Berlin's ever-evolving art and fashion scene where new movements constantly emerge.

Her exceptional selection has led to numerous appearances in films, television, fashion shoots, and collections. Furthermore, publications such as "Vogue," "ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST," and the "Louis Vuitton Guide" have recommended her shop as one of Berlin's "must-visit destinations."

She opened a second store in 2009 and debuted her own collection, "LUNETTES KOLLEKTION," in 2010. In 2011, her designs were highly acclaimed, receiving the highest honor in the men's category at the IOFT (International Optical Fair) competition held in Tokyo.

Growing up with an artist father, Uta Geyer's childhood was filled with visits to numerous museums and historical sites, experiences that laid the foundation for her discerning eye in design and her own creativity. Her earlier work in art and media further honed her aesthetic sensibilities.

Geyer's designs are rooted in European classic elegance, but are distinguished by the addition of Berlin's contemporary spirit and the city's vibrant energy. They are full of playful suggestions, yet informed by her retail experience to create frames that are also highly wearable.
