Paris Adorned by CHANEL, An Enduring Legend
"Paris by CHANEL" begins at 21 rue Cambon, the very origin of it all – the site where Gabrielle Chanel opened her millinery boutique in 1910. We then move to the salon and apartment at 31 rue Cambon, where she unveiled her collections. It was within these walls, adorned with the legendary mirrored staircase, that countless designs took shape under the hands of artisans. Today, Karl Lagerfeld continues to sketch CHANEL's collections here.
The journey continues to the Hôtel Ritz Paris, where she resided from 1937 until her passing, and to 18 place Vendôme, now home to CHANEL's Watch & Fine Jewelry boutique. The film culminates at the Grand Palais, a venue that has graced many of CHANEL's shows. This short film offers a profound exploration of the House's history, tracing its path from Gabrielle Chanel to Karl Lagerfeld through these legendary locales, a narrative that continues to unfold today.
