Focusing on 10 Places of Profound Meaning

Under the theme 'The Sense of Places,' this exhibition shines a spotlight on the numerous locations that provided Gabrielle Chanel with immense inspiration, tracing the brand's creative narrative.

Each of the 10 episodes comprising the exhibition symbolizes a place of significant meaning in Mademoiselle Chanel's life story. From her birthplace in Au-de-Bages, France, to Deauville, and then from Paris to Venice. The exhibition highlights how these lands, where she lived and loved, profoundly influenced her creations. Furthermore, over 500 works, including photographs, books, objects, handwritten manuscripts, archives, and artworks, are displayed alongside her creations in fashion, jewelry, watches, and fragrances.

Through its innovative staging, the exhibition offers a compelling exploration of the spirit of the CHANEL brand itself, by conveying Mademoiselle Chanel's worldview and life story to the present day. The exhibition is curated by Jean-Louis Froment, who has previously achieved success with projects such as 'Culture Chanel' held at the Guangdong Opera House in 2013 and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

At the opening, curator Jean-Louis Froment, along with model and actress Kiko Mizuhara, CHANEL Ambassadors Anna Mouglalis and Caroline de Maigret, model Park Soo-joo, actor Jung Woo-sung, and actress Jung Ryeo-won, attended to celebrate the exhibition's launch. Singer G-DRAGON also visited the venue the day before to experience the exhibition in advance.
