Angelina Omotesando, a jewelry salon in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, will host a counseling event themed "The Ideal Self, Realized Through Jewelry" from May 12 (Monday) at Isetan Shinjuku's Main Building 1F, Accessories / Promotion Space 2.

What is This Exciting Counseling?

Angelina Omotesando, with its concept of "magician of gemstones," will offer its original jewelry counseling method, previously exclusive to clients, at Isetan Shinjuku.

Angelina Omotesando's jewelry counseling is a process of finding jewelry to "grant your wishes" and "become the person you aspire to be." At this event, books titled "Love," "Money," "Work," and "Aiming for My Best Self," reminiscent of fairy tale illustrations, will be available. Guests will choose one book and, as they turn the pages, their personal stories will be explored.

Finally, as if reaching a happy ending, guests will receive advice on the perfect jewelry for their wishes and how to wear it. This offers a different kind of encounter compared to choosing fashion jewelry based on mood, trends, or clothing.

Emi Shinoda, owner and designer of Angelina, says, "Everyone knows the story of 'The Wizard of Oz,' but Dorothy wanted to return to Kansas, the Scarecrow longed for intelligence, the Lion desired courage, and the Tin Woodman wished for a heart. As they journeyed seeking these things, they realized they possessed these qualities within themselves when they accepted and utilized them.

Dorothy faced hardships on her journey to return to Kansas, but she actually had the ruby slippers all along. However, she wouldn't have realized this without the experiences gained on her travels. What kind of jewelry journey will you embark on to discover the power within you to fulfill your wishes?" she shares, speaking about encountering jewelry that is a fitting companion for life's "journey."

Owner and Designer, Angelina. Studied metalworking and jewelry design in New York and Brighton, UK. After working at Van Cleef & Arpels Tokyo headquarters, she went independent. Opened Jewelry Angelina in Roppongi in 1993. Relocated the store to Aoyama in '98 and reopened as "Angelina Omotesando." In 2013, she established and became the representative director of the Japan Jewelry Practitioner Association. Currently also juggling her role as a mother of two boys.
