Perfectly embodying Versace's DNA
Lady Gaga appears with her iconic platinum blonde long hair, a signature of the brand. Dressed in the new collection and accessories for Spring/Summer 2014, and leaning against luxurious furniture, she perfectly embodies the essence of Versace: a creative, experimental, and fearless woman.
The campaign was shot in London by the photography duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. It also features new iterations of iconic bags, including the "Signature Bag" and the "Palazzo Bag," which debuted on the Spring/Summer 2014 runway.
This collaboration was made possible by the deep friendship between Donatella Versace and Lady Gaga. Their bond began when Lady Gaga wore vintage Versace in her music video for "The Edge of Glory," and recently, her new album "ARTPOP" includes a song titled "Donatella."
"I wanted to capture Lady Gaga's inherent beauty and spirit within the elegant and captivating imagery of the campaign. She is like family to me, and an icon who embodies the Versace DNA," commented Donatella Versace.
Lady Gaga has finally appeared in a fashion brand's campaign. The visuals, exuding both allure and sculptural beauty, are poised to generate significant buzz.
