MAIDEN-ART | First Pop-Up Shop Held at Isetan Shinjuku
MAIDEN-ART
Milanese costume jewelry arrives at Isetan Shinjuku's 1st-floor accessories section.
First pop-up shop opens at Isetan Shinjuku.
The brand name “MAIDEN-ART” signifies “innocence + art.” Inspired by the harmonious beauty and nature found in the supple curves of the female form, rendered through chains, crystals, and natural stones, this Milan-based costume jewelry brand, which fuses fashion with art, opens its first pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku's 1st-floor accessories section starting October 1st (Tuesday).

Exclusive "Cristalline" items from Japan Axis Group available for pre-sale.
Since its debut in Japan for the 2012-13 Autumn/Winter collection, MAIDEN-ART has consistently offered striking, artistic costume jewelry.
For this inaugural pop-up shop, designer Maristella Colombo will visit Japan, offering personal styling consultations on October 1st (Tuesday) and 5th (Saturday).
Born in 1979, Maristella Colombo graduated from a university of art and design in Milan. She went on to design for brands such as Italy's "Brums," London's "Boudicca," and New York's "Susan Cianciolo" before establishing MAIDEN-ART in 2007. She also works as a photographer, illustrator, and video artist in international festivals.
The "Cristalline" collection, a Japan-exclusive item available for pre-sale, draws inspiration from the winter sea—its shores and clear waters—and the Björk song of the same name. This collection, featuring necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, uses lapis lazuli and sodalite in varying colors and shapes, along with crystal and silver-plated or brass chains. Prices are primarily in the 20,000 yen range.
