Space Design Based on the Essential Values of Sergio Rossi

Two entirely different private areas, the "Front Stage" and "Back Stage," have appeared on the 3rd floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya. Sergio Rossi's shoes, symbolizing fetishism and allure, are displayed in contrasting spaces.

In the "Front Stage," bathed in spotlights, brass furniture with large circular lines and glass sculpture pieces are central, complemented by multi-layered, brilliantly polished brass cubes of various sizes and deep crimson velvet benches.


The monochrome herringbone Italian marble floor allows the pleasant echo of heel clicks, while lighting suspended at varying heights from the brass ceiling casts a glow, creating a glamorous dressing room atmosphere that feels like being on stage, even in a relaxed setting.


Meanwhile, the "Back Stage" is a dark, secretive, and more private space, evoking intimate moments for both men and women. Curtains of deep blue envelop the space from ceiling to floor, featuring a sensual blue velvet sofa. Beneath it, a zebra-print rug and blue plush carpet offer a soft touch to bare feet.


Shelving inspired by Franco Albini, along with Cab chairs and small tables designed by Bellini, naturally lead into a men's area exuding a powerful ambiance.
