Modern, Glamorous, Chic!

This is the Spring/Summer 2013 London Collection. After the heavy feel of the previous autumn/winter season, how has it changed?

While young designers often steal the spotlight in London, Burberry Prorsum delivered with proven skill and met expectations. Designer Christopher Bailey reimagined the classic trench coat, expanding the variations in coat design. The show opened with white capes. Capes, which Burberry has been creating for over 100 years, were given a modern remake, paired with corsets. Glamorous yet chic. Classic yet modern. Jelly bags lighten the mood, adding a sense of ease.




Just before the show, the world's largest directly managed store opened on Regent Street. The building, constructed in the early 19th century, features a grand, expansive ceiling that allows natural light to flood the space, and on rainy days, the sound of the rain creates a rhythmic ambiance. It's a thoughtful touch that highlights Burberry's heritage.
