New Collection Featuring Chapman Brothers' Animal Prints

From Saturday, January 14th to Thursday, January 19th, LOUIS VUITTON will present its new 2017 Spring/Summer Men's Collection, a collaboration with the Chapman Brothers, at its Roppongi Hills store, ahead of its nationwide release.
During this period, an exclusive installation will also appear on the store's facade and inside, sure to surprise passersby.

An Unexpected Fusion of Africa and London Punk

In his photography book "Renegades," photographer Frank Marshall previously captured images of Botswana's gangs clad in heavy rider jackets.

"Africa (Safari)" and "Punk Culture," evoked by the rider jacket...

Though seemingly disparate, Kim Jones, Louis Vuitton's Men's Collection Director, who spent his childhood in Botswana, drew upon the lingering atmosphere of the region and collaborated with London-based artists Jake and Dinos Chapman to masterfully fuse these two worlds.

The collection features a rich array of items, including leather goods, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, and watches. Animal prints in a natural color palette are applied to materials, combined with punk-inspired detailing and the Maison's signature French elegance, creating a truly unique presence.

To mark the collection's launch, the store's facade is dynamically adorned with sculptures of African animals, and inside, a fantastical giraffe sculpture greets visitors. Furthermore, within a special space inside the store, offering an atmosphere full of surprises, you can also enjoy filming an original movie with the animals from Saturday, January 14th to Tuesday, January 31st.
