The second installment of the Yayoi Kusama Collection, inspired by pumpkins, arrives
The "Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama Collection," a collaboration between Marc Jacobs and artist Yayoi Kusama, launched in July with a motif of polka dots, her signature alongside pumpkins. Now, a second collection themed around pumpkins, another iconic motif for her, arrives on Friday, September 14. Matsuya Ginza will offer early sales starting Saturday, September 1, ahead of the rest of the country.

A giant 2-meter pumpkin appears at Matsuya Ginza!
The "Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama Collection," directed by Artistic Director Marc Jacobs, features polka dots, symbolizing Yayoi Kusama. This collection, which reaffirmed the close relationship between art and Louis Vuitton upon its announcement in July, is now seeing its second installment launch.
The inspiration for this second collection includes the famous pumpkin motif, which, along with polka dots, symbolizes Yayoi Kusama. Colorful pumpkins, formed from dots of varying sizes, are featured on Louis Vuitton's iconic bags and other items.
This collection has garnered significant attention, including the opening of limited-time concept stores in major cities worldwide. At Matsuya Ginza, where early sales will take place, a colossal "Pumpkin" sculpture, standing two meters tall, will be on display from Saturday, September 1, to Sunday, September 23, inviting visitors into an artistic space.
