Nike Japan, a silver sponsor, has announced the event details for the second annual Nagoya Women's Marathon 2013. Open to the public, all finishers will receive a Nike finisher's t-shirt and a pendant from Tiffany & Co., a premier jeweler renowned for crafting trophies for major global sporting events.

The world's largest women's marathon, with approximately 15,000 participants
The Nagoya Women's Marathon, which inherited the legacy of the Nagoya International Women's Marathon (a selection race for international competitions), opened its doors to the public last year, becoming a marathon event for women exceeding 10,000 participants.
In its inaugural year, the Nagoya Women's Marathon 2012 saw 13,114 female runners participate, setting a Guinness World Record for the "World's Largest Women's Marathon" with over 10,000 participants.
Furthermore, the Nagoya Women's Marathon is part of the "Marathon Festival NAGOYA-AICHI." The Nagoya City Marathon, a beloved local event with 15,000 participants held annually, will also take place on the same day, making it one of Japan's largest marathon events.
Nike has a history of supporting women's running, having established Girls' Run Club at its stores and organized various running events for women. Through the Nagoya Women's Marathon, Nike aims to inspire women to start running and support them in their new challenges.
