The 2015 Autumn New Collection Where Materials Shine

Masterpieces of Thorough Handcraftsmanship

Now in its seventh year since the collection's debut in 2009, MAISON TAKUYA is available in Japan at "Hankyu Men's Tokyo" and "Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building." As a luxury brand originating from Asia, it is steadily expanding its fan base through events like color order exhibitions.

MAISON TAKUYA established its own factory in Chiang Mai, Thailand, driven by François Russo's desire and conviction to "create perfect leather goods without a single compromise." With a team of 100 artisans, the brand maintains a 100% in-house production system, adhering to quality-first craftsmanship, including personalized color order items.

Constantly Pursuing the Expression of Modernity

The highlight of the 2015 Autumn New Collection is the "Splash Alligator," an original new material used in one of MAISON TAKUYA's signature iPhone cases. This groundbreaking material, made from genuine alligator leather, is completely waterproof and achieved through nano-technology dyeing processes.

Splash Alligator features a semi-matte finish and repels water completely on both the outer and inner surfaces, offering resistance to sunburn and friction. It does not age over time, and any wetness or stains can be wiped clean with a dry cloth. The interior of the iPhone case is made of carbon fiber, ensuring excellent strength and durability. This iPhone case is scheduled for release at the end of November and will be available in four colors: red, smoke gray, black, and brown.

François Russo expressed his ambition, stating, "Currently, it's used for iPhone cases, but I want to incorporate it into bags and small accessories in the future."

Attention to the Evolving New Collection

The latest collection introduces "Neo Ladies," the brand's full-fledged women's line. Also noteworthy are the evolved versions of the brand's iconic single-piece leather bags, Uni-Brief and Uni-BodyT, now called "Neo-Tote," and a new series of bags named "Wonderlus," inspired by wanderlust.

The luxury line is also enhanced with the "EB Series (Evolutionary Business Line)," an evolution of the business line, and the "Exotic Stripe" series, which features two exotic leathers, alligator and seal, placed centrally on the items with thick straps.

On September 12th, "Authentic Gallery by fare" (1F, Seinan Bldg., 6-1-24 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo), a select shop offering MAISON TAKUYA's full collection, opened its doors. The spacious store allows customers to carefully select from MAISON TAKUYA's latest creations to its classic pieces.
