Proposing Outdoor Sports Through the Seasons

The second domestic store of THE NORTH FACE GRAVITY, a new concept by The North Face that opened last year in Niseko, Hokkaido, has now opened in Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture.

The store, inspired by a National Park visitor center in California, features The North Face's high-end "Summit Series," the "Performance Line" for trail and road running, the Purple Label for urban outdoor lifestyles, and women's and kids' lines, among other extensive offerings.

Curated Collections for Every Season

Additionally, the store will carry outdoor bags from New Zealand brand macpac, compression wear from C3fit, and merino wool outdoor apparel from Icebreaker. During the green season (spring, summer, autumn), it will offer rainwear, trekking shoes, and packs.

For the winter season, expect items that expand the world of outdoor activities, such as ski wear from GOLDWIN, 241, BLUEBLOOD, and ESTIVO, as well as skis and boots from FISCHER.

A Cafe & Free Space for Gathering

The second floor features a coffee stand offering views of the majestic Hakuba Sanzan mountains (Mt. Hakuba, Mt. Shari, Mt. Hakuba Yarigatake), and a free space with books on nature and art for browsing. Guests can relax and enjoy their time while taking in the magnificent natural scenery.

The store plans to host outdoor events in Hakuba led by knowledgeable staff and conduct new product monitoring. By communicating the allure of Hakuba throughout the year and organizing events, it aims to propose the next generation of outdoor lifestyles.
