CHANEL 2011-12 Autumn/Winter Haute Couture Collection Report!

Presenting Karl Lagerfeld's Latest Elegant Style
The collection was held at the Grand Palais, a familiar venue for CHANEL shows. However, the moment guests stepped inside, they were met with the surprise of the Place Vendôme appearing before them. Even more ingeniously, atop the columns that symbolize the square, stood not Napoleon, but a statue of Mademoiselle Chanel, creating a remarkable stage.
On a special runway where the real starry sky could be seen through the glass ceiling, models appeared with makeup featuring lace-covered eyes. They wore voluminous gathered skirts, Basque jackets accented with opulent embellishments, and suits characterized by collarless or straight lines, presenting Karl Lagerfeld's latest vision of elegance.
Furthermore, model TAO from Japan made her debut in the show, embodying the world of CHANEL. For the finale, models reappeared wearing shoes with illuminated tips, bringing the atmosphere to a crescendo.
Numerous celebrities also attended the show, including Elle Fanning, Diane Kruger, Milla Jovovich, and from Japan, actor Hiroshi Tamaki, actress and model Kiko Mizuhara, and architect Junya Ishigami, all of whom savored CHANEL's world of beauty.
