Say Goodbye to Eye Area Concerns Like Wrinkles, Sagging, Dark Circles, and Dullness!

For Eyes That Are Watched 100% of the Time: REVITAL GRANAS CAVIAR

<Catch Up With This Item This November!>
A sudden question: when you talk to a woman for the first time, where do you look? Some of you might say, "Definitely the eyes," while others might say, "I feel shy when our eyes meet, so I look at the mouth." According to a survey by Shiseido, 87% of people look at the eye area first when meeting someone for the first time. The mouth area comes in second at 9%, and the cheeks are third at 1%. Furthermore, when asked which part of the face is used to guess someone's age, 100% answered the eye area. Therefore, this month's topic is eye care. After all, it's 100%! Your eyes are where your age is judged, which is quite a predicament. That's why we have "Shiseido Revital Granas Caviar," launching on Sunday, November 21st. If you have concerns like wrinkles, sagging, dark circles, or dullness around your eyes, you should say goodbye to them immediately!

Tiny Beads Are Capsules. Apply to Skin and Eyes Instantly Feel Taut!

Checks from the same sex are strict. I was keenly aware of this, just as the Shiseido survey results presented here indicate. While I believe this is because the survey was limited to "parts of the face," even if you put your all into fashion and hairstyles, neglecting eye care can instantly make you look older. Skincare is, after all, the most important thing. Especially eye care! What captured my attention was "Shiseido Revital Granas Caviar," packed with tiny white beads. Honestly, while I preach the importance of eye care, I hadn't truly incorporated it into my daily routine. But with this item, I've mastered eye care.

This is because its unique texture inspires motivation. Visually, it resembles white caviar, doesn't it? But when you crush the beads, no skin remains, and upon application, the eye area instantly feels taut! Wrinkles are camouflaged and become less noticeable. The most distinctive feature of this caviar is undoubtedly its form. Each tiny white bead is packed with cosmetic ingredients such as soybean extract, vitamin E derivative, and vitamin C derivative. Furthermore, the translucent outer layer of the bead is called a "skin repair film" and contains hyaluronic acid and collagen. When spread on the skin, the inner cosmetic ingredients dissolve and penetrate, after which the "skin repair film" coats the skin, creating a feeling of firmness. It acts as a pseudo-skin, retaining moisture and protecting the delicate eye area.

By forming them into tiny beads, the precious cosmetic ingredients are not exposed to air, preventing degradation due to oxidation and ensuring freshness with every application. These tiny beads—capsules—reportedly presented development challenges because the soybean extract, one of the key ingredients, is water-soluble. Previous encapsulated serums typically contained oil-soluble ingredients like retinol. However, because caviar is water-soluble, it initially wouldn't form into beads, causing difficulties. Even after achieving success in the experimental stage, further challenges arose during the transition to mass production. This caviar, born from the various efforts of its developers, is a truly remarkable product.

Eye Care is Daily Care, Not Special Occasion Care

Indeed, precisely because they are in bead form, there's a slight knack to blending in the caviar. The amount to use at once is one spatula-full for both eyes. Divide this between the ring fingers of both hands. First, place it on the acupressure point called "Shichiro" (two finger-widths below the bone edge under the pupil). Once the caviar is crushed at "Shichiro," blend it into the lower eyelid, then gently blend around the upper eyelid. Be very careful not to apply too much pressure. The skin around the eyes is extremely thin, and pressing too hard can cause irritation, leading to wrinkles and pigmentation. Many people often rub vigorously, claiming to "promote lymphatic flow," but lymphatic fluid only needs to be gently stroked! The rule for the eye area is gentle and unhurried. And the step in your routine? It's the last step of your skincare. After blending, it feels smooth, so there's no stickiness even when used in the morning before makeup. In fact, makeup adheres better after using the caviar.

In winter, the eye area tends to become even drier. Eye care is daily care, not a special treatment. Incorporate it diligently morning and night to keep your perceived age looking youthful!

A word from my hometown, Tosa dialect!
“Look at these tiny popping beads. You put them on your eyes? When you crush them, they become so smooth. And then, your eyes feel so firm! It’s like the wrinkles smoothed out too. Aren’t you eager to try it?”

<A Peek Inside Naoko Kunitomo's Workspace ①>

My bathroom, which serves as my workspace, is overrun with a vast array of cosmetics. I basically replace items twice a year, organizing them by category. For toners and lotions, I cut the top of the boxes diagonally and stack them. This way, the tops of the bottles are visible, making brands easy to identify and items easy to retrieve. Fragrances, on the other hand, are lined up on a rack to enjoy their aesthetic appeal. Brushes, mascaras, and eyeliners are stored upright in transparent acrylic cases, while eyeshadows and lip products are organized by color group in drawer cases. As I've started collecting new spring colors, it's time for a reorganization. Honestly, I'm not good at tidying up, so it's quite a task!
