I can't feel it on my skin at all! I was surprised by how seamlessly it blended with my own skin.
Control your "inner light" with Teint Miracle Liquid
<Catch up on these items in August!>
Day after day, record-breaking heatwaves. It's the kind of season where stepping outside makes your makeup melt into a mess, but I'd like to introduce a foundation recommended for autumn, a little ahead of time. It's Lancôme's Teint Miracle Liquid, launching on Friday, August 20th. It creates a beautiful finish, leaving your skin looking dewy, healthy, and with a firm, lifted appearance. I've been using it myself during this intense heat, and it doesn't get messy! It brightens my complexion with a natural radiance! I'm quite impressed! This autumn, the trend is radiant skin, not matte. It's definitely worth trying!

What we perceive as skin's radiance is its "inner light"
The other day, I met several readers in their late twenties to early thirties for a certain magazine, and they all complained about dullness. They were trying various methods like promoting blood circulation through massage or using pink-tinted primers, but frankly, with Teint Miracle Liquid, you don't need to worry about dullness. It creates a bright, dewy finish with just one application.
The secret lies in Lancôme's proprietary discovery of seven light pathways. While foundations that utilize light have existed before, most of them control light reflected on the skin's surface. However, Lancôme delved into how much light is actually on the surface. They discovered that only 5% of the light that hits the skin is directly reflected off the surface. The remaining 95% penetrates the skin, and of that, 40% is re-reflected from the skin's surface. The numbers might be confusing, but essentially, what we should focus on is that 40% of the light that passes through the skin's interior and then re-emerges. This is called "inner light," and it's this light that we perceive as skin's radiance. This "inner light" is influenced by collagen, blood, and melanin within the skin, so if your skin condition isn't optimal, your radiance will diminish.
Therefore, even if your skin condition isn't ideal, Teint Miracle Liquid aims to brightly control this "inner light" using its "light essence" and pink and blue pigments.
Phew, that was a bit complicated and hard to understand, wasn't it? My apologies...
But putting the explanation aside, when you actually apply it to your skin, you'll be amazed by its radiant brightness. What's more, you can't feel it on your skin at all! I was surprised by how seamlessly it blended with my own skin. This is thanks to the seven color variations developed by pursuing the ideal shades for Japanese women's skin tones. You can choose from subtle differences, so you don't have to worry about the color looking unnatural and standing out. It's a real plus.
The sponge, 1.5cm thick and 7cm in diameter, is also excellent
What I also love is the specially developed sponge. It was apparently made exclusively by a major sponge manufacturer. It has a considerable thickness and amazing resilience, and it's about twice the size of a regular sponge, making it very easy to use. I measured it, and it's 1.5cm thick and 7cm in diameter! With this thickness and size, you can spread the foundation quickly without applying too much pressure. And the way it holds just the right amount of foundation is exquisite. In the past, I've had bad experiences with liquid foundation sponges that were designed to absorb as little as possible. They would just glide over the skin, leaving streaks and unevenness, making me think, "What is this?" and abandon them after the first use...
However, this sponge is truly amazing! The trick is to lightly spread it from the inner to the outer parts of your face, then gently pat it in to blend. Anyone can easily achieve a dewy complexion! As an extra tip, try dabbing the sponge with face powder on the side you used for foundation, then gently patting it onto your skin again for an even more natural finish. Since you've achieved a dewy look, you don't want to make it too matte with powder, so the key is to apply powder lightly! That's the correct approach. This sponge is also useful for that. Don't forget Teint Miracle Liquid and its dedicated sponge, which maximizes its potential, this autumn!
A word from my hometown, Tosa!
“Truly, skin looks prettier with a dewy finish. And I don't mean shiny, but a healthy, firm kind of dewiness. Plus, this thick sponge is really well-made. It's great for patting your skin gently.”
