Astonishingly light and compact, perfect for outdoor events and camping.
Herinox
DAC, a company that supplies tents and trekking poles to over 80 outdoor brands, leveraged its advanced technology to create the outdoor furniture brand Helinox in 2009.
Chairs made with ultra-light aluminum poles, offering high strength and flexibility, fold compactly and are lightweight. Their excellent design means they are now a common sight at Japanese campsites and music festivals. In recent years, the range has expanded to include cots and umbrellas, making it an increasingly popular brand.
As the outdoor season gets into full swing, JOURNAL STANDARD Omotesando has once again selected items from this brand. These chairs, easily portable to various locations and usable in daily life, offer a wide range of applications.
A footwear brand with a track record of adoption by SEALs (Naval Special Warfare Command).
LALO
LALO was founded by Nael Robertie, who belonged to the U.S. Navy SEALs, and other members who had worked at sports shoe brands. Initially, they were contracted to develop shoes for SEALs to use during operations. Their quality was recognized, leading to requests for lightweight, portable, and breathable shoes for training and missions. This became the origin of the training shoes currently on the market.
Given their background and appearance, these might seem like rugged, hard-wearing shoes, but they are actually extremely lightweight and excellent for activities. Furthermore, all shoes feature Ultrasuede lining, allowing them to be worn barefoot for a comfortable experience. The brand also holds multiple patents, one of which is the ability to "make no noise when walking," an interesting detail that reflects their origins in developing military footwear.
Currently, LALO is exclusively handled by JOURNAL STANDARD in Japan. We highly recommend this brand for its authentic specifications that appeal to the male sensibility.
Exclusive items with an authentic yet feminine touch from a long-established shirt manufacturer.
INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS
INDIVIDUALIZED SHIRTS is a premium American custom-tailored shirt manufacturer boasting the largest market share in the U.S. Based in New Jersey, the brand has been crafting shirts true to American tradition since 1961. Here, we introduce their women's items.
JOURNAL STANDARD has consistently selected this brand as an indispensable staple. They have also produced numerous bespoke items, always aiming to retain the brand's image while incorporating seasonal moods and trends. For this Spring/Summer season, they've introduced a relaxed vibe, proposing oversized men's shirts for women. Yet, they remain distinctly women's items, finished with feminine details.
These bespoke models offer the crispness of dress shirts combined with a relaxed, season-appropriate feel. Additionally, the standard items are crafted from fabrics that capture the current mood. We invite you to style these exquisitely nuanced shirts in your own unique way.
