LOUIS VUITTON will release a limited edition of its "LV High Top Trainer" men's sneakers worldwide starting Wednesday, December 4, 2019. In Japan, the release will be exclusive to the Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza and Omotesando stores.

The "LV Trainer," now a staple in men's sneakers, was first unveiled on the runway during the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, marking the debut of Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh at the maison. Since then, the "LV Trainer," incorporating lines reminiscent of nostalgic basketball shoes, has been reinterpreted each season with diverse color combinations and materials.

The limited edition "LV High Top Trainer," available from December 4th at the Louis Vuitton Matsuya Ginza and Omotesando stores, features exclusive colors symbolizing nine global cities. For Japan, the "Deep Purple" color representing Tokyo will be offered. This is a collector's item that merges Louis Vuitton's iconic savoir-faire with Virgil Abloh's ongoing vision for style.

New colorful shoelaces and a Monogram canvas tag are included, both featuring white details specially designed for this release. The Monogram Flower is subtly placed on the sole, while the lettering "LVM," representing "Louis Vuitton Malletier," adorns the tongue.

The upper features "408," representing August 4th, Louis Vuitton's birthday, and near the sole, a handwritten-handwritten-style "Louis Vuitton" signature. The shoe is crafted through a complex process, with the sole composed of 20 parts and the upper of 106 parts, incorporating an advanced tech system with shock-absorbing materials within the sole.

Other city exclusives include: Chicago in orange, New York City in blue, Milan in pink, Paris in baby blue, London in sunny yellow, Dubai in forest green, Shanghai in turquoise, and Seoul in red.
