Workshops to Experience the Importance of Nature Regeneration Activities

For Kering, with creativity at the heart of its strategy, sustainability is not a new theme. More than 15 years ago, Chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault was convinced that sustainability was essential both ethically and commercially, and placed it at the core of the group's strategy.
In 2017, Kering opened a new chapter, "Crafting Tomorrow's Luxury," to actively transform the luxury sector over the next decade. This strategy, aimed at 2025, is a consistent approach for Kering to continuously reduce its environmental impact, advocate for social welfare, and develop innovations that bring about change.
Kering is now holding a three-day exhibition on sustainability, "Fashion & Biodiversity: Thinking About Fashion and Biodiversity with Kering."
How can we solve the ongoing environmental problems? Kering considers this issue to be the biggest and most urgent challenge, and is promoting initiatives that encourage transformation not only within its own supply chain but also beyond its scope.
The process of creating products for each brand in the Kering Group begins with farms, grasslands, forests, and other ecosystems around the world. This exhibition invites visitors to consider the environmental challenges and their solutions throughout the entire supply chain, from the sourcing of raw materials for the clothes we wear to the final products displayed in stores, alongside Kering.
The venue is divided into six sections, and visitors proceed through each section, color-coded, following a curved path like tracing the roots and branches of a tree.
The exhibition aims to foster understanding of fashion, its roots in nature, and the environmental issues nature currently faces. It will explain the group's and individual brands' initiatives—such as Kering's biodiversity strategy, climate change measures closely related to that strategy, and circular approaches—using photographs, actual materials, and products, presenting choices within luxury fashion.
Additionally, a workshop will be held where participants can experience the importance of restoring and regenerating natural environments through a board game, involving everyone involved in product manufacturing.
This exhibition by Kering, a pioneer in the fashion industry's SDGs, is sure to offer you new discoveries.
