New models "Din" and "Futura" have arrived.
With a concept of "Choose your eyewear design as you choose your typeface," TYPE, an eyewear brand that debuted this January, has released its second collection of new models, "Din" and "Futura," on December 1st. They are available for purchase on the TYPE website (http://type.gs/).

Frames Inspired by Typefaces
TYPE eyewear is handcrafted by artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture—an area renowned for eyewear production—drawing inspiration from the functional and design parallels between typefaces and glasses. Following the first release of "Helvetica®" and "Garamond," the second collection features "Din" and "Futura." Available in Black, Tortoise, and Clear, the collection includes both eyeglasses and sunglasses.
TYPE eyewear also allows you to select a frame design that suits you, choosing from different frame thicknesses (Light, Regular, and Bold).
Two Typeface Designs That Transform Your Impression
"Din" originated for German industrial standards and is characterized by its straight lines and slender design. It is now widely used across various countries and applications, and can be seen daily in Japan. The design reflects Din's neutral, sophisticated, and unadorned impression, resulting in eyeglasses that are easy to wear and use.
"Futura" features a rounded design and is a highly recognizable typeface used in the logos of many brands. The eyewear captures Futura's modern yet charming characteristics.
