An Anniversary Product Crafted on a Grand Scale

The special anniversary product commemorating MINOTAUR's 10th anniversary comes in two styles: a down jacket and a vest. Boldly transfer-printed with satellite video images captured by NHK's high-definition camera from the lunar orbiter "Kaguya (Selene)," launched on September 14, 2007, by the H-IIA rocket and placed into lunar orbit approximately 100 km above the moon's surface.





It is reversible, with the opposite side of the satellite imagery featuring simple solid colors in blue and black. The fabric used is a high-density polyester. The solid color side has a refined, crisp texture, while the satellite image side uses a fabric with a subtle sheen that allows the print to stand out vividly.

Continuing the theme of the 2013 Autumn/Winter collection, "DAWN," the concept is a change in color. The front zip is placed diagonally along the gradation of Earth's "blue." Stretch binder tape is used on the cuffs and hem to reduce restrictions on movement, pursuing a balance of sporty comfort and design.





The length is kept compact, with a tight pattern for the body and arms to create a modern silhouette. By tightening the drawcords located at various points, such as the hood and hem, cold protection can be enhanced. Furthermore, the ideal ratio of down to feathers is used, preventing clumping and adjusted to an appropriate amount that complements the silhouette, resulting in down wear that balances warmth and three-dimensional form.
