LOEWE has released its Home Scents collection, featuring aroma candles and home fragrances. Ten plant-inspired scents are available.

Interpreting Ten Plant Essences

From the moment he joined LOEWE, he was determined to create items that evoke scent. This idea has now taken shape with the release of LOEWE's first Home Scents collection.

He stated that the focus for this collection was on "evoking a sense of comfort."

He interpreted ten plant essences with in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles. These scents are expressed through candles, wax candles, home fragrances, and rattan diffusers.

Scents evoking "comfort" are sourced from nature, including honeysuckle, beetroot, juniper berry, tomato leaf, coriander, liquorice, luscious pear, oregano, cypress balls, and ivy.

The source of these scents is Anderson's memory: the aromas of Victorian gardens and pharmacies from his childhood, blended with the work of British artist Anna Atkins, illustrations of exotic South American flowers by Spanish explorers, and the sentimental aesthetic of Japanese photographer Kazuma Ogawa.

The pots for the fragrances are inspired by a 5th-century BC Greek vase that Anderson acquired at auction. He saw modernity and functionality in this design.

The pots contain wax made from pure plant extracts and are embossed with the LOEWE logo and the words "Made in Spain."

The packaging was also produced in Spain, with photographer Erwan Frotin commissioned for the work. He was chosen for his ability to capture intricate details and express the beauty of the natural world.
