A Coveted Boutique for Refined Streetwear

Toronto-based lifestyle brand October’s Very Own (OVO) has opened its flagship store in Kita-Aoyama, Tokyo. The boutique offers a curated selection of sophisticated streetwear. An online store has also been launched concurrently. The opening date is Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM.

October’s Very Own (OVO) is a lifestyle brand founded in 2008 in Toronto, Canada, by musician Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Oliver El-Khatib, and music producer Noah “40” Shebib.
The brand is involved in the planning, design, production, and manufacturing of a wide range of items, from music and apparel to accessories and special collaborations.
OVO’s first flagship store in Japan is set to open in Kita-Aoyama, Tokyo.
OVO TOKYO marks the ninth store, following pop-up shops in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, and Las Vegas within the Wynn Plaza.
This store, the first in Asia, features interior design by Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall. The space is characterized by its use of wood, creating an urban, sophisticated, yet warm atmosphere.
To commemorate the opening, a number of collaborations and limited-edition items will be available.
Highlights include the OVO x Raptors Practice Jersey, available first in Japan, the Japan-exclusive OVO x Porter collection and OVO Tokyo Shop Tee, as well as the Nike Air Jordan "Final Fours" and Takashi Murakami x OVO items, all released in Japan for the first time.
The Fall/Winter 2019 collection will drop weekly, and the now-staple OVO Essentials will be available in full.
The items, which add a playful touch to a streetwear aesthetic, exude an urban vibe perfectly suited for the contemporary fashion scene.
An online store will also launch simultaneously with the flagship store, making it easy to purchase items from the collection.
This is a boutique to watch, with more exciting items to come.
