Undyed Stoles Crafted from the Fine, Soft Down of Cashmere Goats
Founded in 1923 in Kōchō, Nihonbashi, Tokyo, as a wholesaler of handkerchiefs, Kawabe now focuses on manufacturing, emphasizing quality through rigorous material sourcing, development, and research.
For Fall/Winter 2019, they launched a new label, "OLU NATURAL BASIC," centered on undyed cashmere stoles. "OLU" is a coined word combining O = OUR, L = LOOM, and U = UTENSILS.
The debut collection features seven cashmere stoles, meticulously crafted from select natural materials (cashmere goat) and exclusively in undyed hues.
The unisex designs complement any fashion choice, offering a tangible sense of softness, lightness, and warmth when worn.
Their natural colors and gentle touch truly embody the gifts of nature.
