Knitwear Adorned with Japanese Aesthetics
YASHIKI emerged as a Japanese knitwear brand in 2014. Its items are known for their warm silhouettes, drawing inspiration from Japan's original landscapes and culture.
The latest release is the "Haruta Knit." Haruta translates to "spring field" in Japanese. This knitwear is crafted to evoke the image of rice paddies in spring, when the snow melts, water flows through the channels, and plants begin to sprout.
The silhouette is designed to drape softly when worn, with a finish that pays homage to kimono patterns. The neckline is inspired by the overlapping collar of a kimono.
The cuffs subtly feature the brand's iconic "Yagasuri" (arrow feather) pattern, creating a style that embodies Japanese aesthetic sensibilities.
