Two Lines Showcasing Each Designer's Signature Style
Virgil Abloh's collection draws from his youth, recalling listening to hip-hop while heading to soccer games, and his signature playful approach to mixing brand logos. The collection is a vibrant expression of his instincts, brimming with bold yet nuanced visual statements.

Regarding this collection, Virgil Abloh stated, "What's beautiful about the expression and history of football is that it has its own aesthetic. I was inspired by the way sponsor logos are always printed on the chest of European team uniforms. I also wanted to highlight the use of various typographic treatments in this collection."
Furthermore, all the numbers used in the collection are past jersey numbers that Virgil Abloh wore when he played. The black and white checkerboard jersey was inspired by Czech uniforms.
The team logo, depicting a lion playing with dots, pays homage to universal crests while incorporating a dot pattern that signifies the optimal part of the foot for kicking a ball, a fundamental element rendered in a unique way.

Meanwhile, Kim Jones' collection, titled NIKE X KIM JONES “FOOTBALL REIMAGINED,” merges avant-garde design with sports technology, evoking the vibrant era of London's King's Road.
In contrast to Abloh, Jones explores the rational aspects of fashion through football. His collection reimagines traditional football apparel—shorts, jerseys, and pre-match jackets—with innovative material cuts. It also features popular Nike footwear lines such as "Mercurial," "Footscape," "Vandal," and "Air Max 97."
This project, featuring both familiar and unique elements, fully embodies the distinct styles of each designer. The NIKE X KIM JONES “FOOTBALL REIMAGINED” collection will be available from June 7th, and the NIKE X OFF-WHITE “FOOTBALL, MON AMOUR” collection from June 14th.
