City Guides Reimagined!

Since their debut in 1998, the "Louis Vuitton City Guides" have introduced a passion for travel and the essence of life at destinations through numerous must-see spots in each city, all from a unique perspective. The 2013 edition, presented with new designs and a fresh look, includes San Francisco, the host city of the 2013 America's Cup, and features revamped content for the Paris, New York, and Tokyo editions. The European major cities BOX set is expanded with Budapest, London, Marseille, Yekaterinburg (Russia), Kitzbühel (Austria), Lugano (Switzerland), and Verona, each brimming with its own charm.

At Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, experience the "essence of travel" with "LOUIS VUITTON - LIBRARY OF TRAVEL." Introducing books curated by Louis Vuitton on the theme of "travel," the gallery on the first floor of Building 2 will also host an exhibition showcasing original artwork by Ruben Toledo, the illustrator for the "City Guides." The lounge "ANJIN" on the second floor of Building 2, "VUITTONIZED" with a special display featuring Louis Vuitton miniature trunks and bespoke items to evoke "travel," will also offer an iPad application for the book "Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks."

The connection between Louis Vuitton, travel, and books runs deep, exemplified by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the founder's grandson, who was both a trunk maker and a traveler, and who established three bibliophile societies himself. This exhibition offers a glimpse into that rich history.

Furthermore, on Saturday, November 3rd, a special talk show titled "Adult Travel" will be held, featuring Jiro Ishikawa and Keiichiro Hirano at Louis Vuitton's "Travel Library." The event will be live-streamed from 2 PM via Ustream.
