A Rugged Backpack Pursuing Maximum Potential Within Minimalism

TOMOE is a baseball glove factory manufacturer, the largest in the world. The collaborative project was launched in 2005 when three companies met: "Tryon," a leather bag brand known for its dedication to craftsmanship; "Hozukiya," which has handled Japan's top bag brands for many years; and "Hikaru Matsumura Design," specializing in unique bag designs. TOMOE is a collection that creates new bag products according to the theme set by Tryon.

Minimalist and functional, systematic and rational, with a modern sensibility backed by tradition. Through the meticulous efforts of these three partners, a balanced coexistence of elements has been achieved, resulting in products that embody "harmony (Tomoe)."


The new backpack, released on November 1st (Tuesday), features a rugged appearance dyed in jet black with TPU (urethane resin), the brand's signature material. The form can be enjoyed by adjusting the slide handle and the leather straps on both sides.

Furthermore, it is equipped with ample capacity features, such as two types of zipper pockets on the outer back and thick shoulder pads. Seeing it with your own eyes and touching it with your own hands will allow you to truly appreciate the pinnacle of Japanese craftsmanship nurtured by its culture.
